The good folks at Parker Brothers Choppers have a dream, to make you so damn super cool that people will literally foam in their pants just for the chance to make eye contact with you.
Why wouldn't they, as you pull up in your custom Lightcycle all Troned out, looking mighty spiffy and ready to party? It's virtually impossible not to want to rip your clothes off. Hell, I don't even know you and I already want to have your baby.

Serkis to Star as Caesar in Planet of the Apes!

Great news for anyone who love British actor Andy Serkis. Or for anyone looking forward to Fox's Planet of the Apes prequel Rise of the Apes. Fox just launched an official Twitter feed today with a bit of news: "Gollum reteams with Weta. Andy Serkis to star as Caesar in Rise of the Apes, portraying chimp who leads the simian revolt." Serkis has already "played" another ape before - King Kong in Peter Jackson's remake from 2005. As we know, Weta is creating all of the apes digitally, but it's great to hear they've got someone talented behind the very vital role of Caesar. James Franco stars in the movie and Rupert Wyatt is directing.

Warner Bros.. has released a new featurette for Christopher Nolan’s Inception that focuses on the characters in the movie. Since we’re so close to July 16, I’m actually not going to watch the featurette as I already know more than I want to. Also, I believe anyone that has seen a trailer or TV spot for Inception is interested in the movie, and once you know you’re going to see it, why keep watching more footage from what might be one of the best films of the year. What I’m trying to say is…this is one of those movies the less you know the better. But for those that have to see everything…hit the jump:

Disney is definitely on their way to becoming the top studio again. There are hundreds of projects they're working on, but two of them get some time in the spotlight today. Empire caught up with Disney producer Don Hahn, who directed the great Waking Sleeping Beauty documentary and is working on Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, and talked about a few different projects at Disney, since he still is working on other things besides telling the inside story of Disney. They're starting work on a 3D conversion of The Lion King as well.

The first official photo of actor Jason Momoa ("Baywatch", "North Shore", "Stargate: Atlantis") as the legendary Conan the Barbarian in Marcus Nispel's Conan has been found on the site for Nu Boyana Film Studios (via ScreenRant). It's not much, it's actually even less than the Thor first look. It's pretty much just a shot of a buffed up Jason Momoa with some epicly long hair and that's about it; you can barely make out the stairs behind him, but I want to see more from this first! The good news is that it looks like this guy has almost as much muscle as Arnold did in his movie. So check it out then speak your mind!

M. Night Shyamalan has completed a script for a new film and already has some stars lined up, reports Heat Vision:
"No details are known about the project, but it comes with some major acting talent: We've learned that Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow and Bruce Willis are loosely attached to star in the film.
Shyamalan is famously secretive, and this project is no exception: Only top studio execs have read the script, and they were required to allow a Shyamalan assistant to supervise the process. When the execs finished reading, the assistant took the script back and left."

'Toy Story 3' Get's 2 Bad Reviews
Posted by
Kaetus
Meet The Only Two People Who Hate Toy Story 3 Film is subjective and that means that even though a group of people might watch the same movie, they’ll have different opinions on what they just watched. And most of the time, all of those are opinions are valid. It’s impossible for an opinion to be wrong. Most of the time. Sometimes though, something is so self-evident that it moves beyond opinion. When everyone in the world gets together and agrees that yes, this is really good, that one lone voice standing in the corner and shouting the opposite isn’t just a different opinion, it’s a wrong opinion.
Until a few hours ago, Toy Story 3 had a 100% fresh rating on the review compiler Rotten Tomatoes. It’s a feat almost never accomplished by modern movies. The few other films to carry the 100% fresh rating all pre-date the modern era or they were reviewed by a small handful of critics, usually fewer than forty or fifty. Yet with more than 130 reviews in, Toy Story 3 had a 100% fresh rating. Enter two assholes.

Well, these may not be official official photos, but these are actual stills from the movie, not just some shots of Depp taken by paparazzi while on set down in Puerto Rico. So although it's great to see Depp in a role that doesn't involve heavy make-up, I have no clue when this is coming to theaters. Anyway, check out these two photos below!

I’ve lost track of how many trailers have been released for this movie.Universal Pictures have released a new trailer for DESPICABLE ME.
You can see from the marketing the little yellow guys are probably one if not most entertaining part of the movie, there in virtually everything that comes out for this movie(printed and on screen). Today in America Toy Story 3 came out in the cinemas and stateside this movie will be out a few weeks later on July 9th, so with the distraction of Toy Story 3 Universal want to keep the moviegoers to remember about there animation.
Rise of the Apes Casting
Posted by
Kaetus
This cast is shaping quite nicely. We already know that James Franco will star in Fox's Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes prequel that Rupert Wyatt is directing this summer up in Vancouver. But besides Franco, no other cast members have been announced yet, although we do know they'll be using Weta to create CGI apes instead of using men in suits. Bloody-Disgusting, of all places, is reporting that offers have been made (read: they're not signed yet) to actors Don Cheadle (last seen in Iron Man 2) and Freida Pinto (last seen in Slumdog Millionaire) for roles in the movie. But as of now, it's unconfirmed if these two will be joining.
DiCaprio Signs On J. Edgar Hoover Biopic
Posted by
Kaetus
Back in late March, Leonardo DiCaprio was in early negotiations to star in Clint Eastwood’s biopic about the controversial former heard of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover. It looks like those negotiations have wrapped up as Deadline reports that DiCaprio is now officially on board. The film has been on the fast track ever since producer Brian Grazer brought Dustin Lance Black’s script to Clint Eastwood in mid-February. And only Deadline could say that it’s great DiCaprio “is getting out of his Marty Scorsese rut,” as if working with the legendary director is such an awful fate that’s really brought down the actor’s career.

Lee Unkrich talks Toy Story 4
Posted by
Kaetus
Aside from the brief blip of Toy Story 2 in 1999, it seemed that Pixar was a company averse to creating sequels; now, though, they’re positively swamped by them. Toy Story 3. Cars 2. A second installment of Monsters Inc. And now, while Toy Story 3 had been commonly regarded as the end of that franchise, director Lee Unkrich is reopening the door. “We know that people love the characters, love Woody and Buzz, and would hate to say good-bye to them completely,” Unkrich told MSN. “I don’t know that there would ever be a ‘[Toy Story] 4.’ We don’t have any plans for one — but we are trying to find ways to keep the characters alive. We have announced we’re going to do a short film in front of Cars 2 that uses the Toy Story characters. We’re going to keep them alive; they’re not going away forever.”
What I’m saying is… maybe they should?

Thanks to our friends from the UK at the great HeyUGuys blog, we have a brand new UK trailer for Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to feature today. I think I'm most looking forward to seeing Mary Elizabeth Winstead melt the hearts of millions of guys (including me) than anything else, except maybe the fight scenes?. But I've said enough - fire it up!
Fantastic Cast for Cloud Atlas

Kaetus
Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, and Natalie Portman have been offered roles in Tom Tykwer’s adaptation of David Mitchell’s novel Cloud Atlas. The book spans thousands of years, several genres, and has six leading characters. In their article, The Playlist notes that the material appears to be un-filmable. But that hasn’t stopped Tykwer before. He managed to tackle Perfume: The Story of a Murderer when author Patrick Süskind thought that only Stanley Kubrick or Milos Forman would have the skill to do it. Production Weekly notes that production is gearing up for a spring 2011 start, so the cast has plenty of lead time to put this in their schedule should they decide to sign on.
