Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader Trailer

Though Disney decided not to move forward with The Chronicles of Narnia franchise, Fox picked up the ball and slated the third entry The Voyage of the Dawn Treader for a 3D release on December 10, 2010.
Based on the C.S. Lewis novel, Voyage follows the continuing adventures of Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with obnoxious cousin Eustace, as they sail the Narnian seas.  Check out the trailer after the jump.

I love how despite the lack of Disney involvement, this is going to fit nicely with the first two. A little part of me hopes that this does really well at the Boxoffice after the House of Mouse decided it wasn’t worth taking the risk on.
It does look good.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is directed by British filmmaker Michael Apted, of films like Class Action, Thunderheart, Extreme Measures, The World Is Not Enough, Amazing Grace and The Power of the Game previously. The screenplay was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (You Kill Me, Prince Caspian, Marvel's Captain America) and Michael Petroni (Queen of the Damned, Boys Own Story, Possession). This is based on the third book in C.S. Lewis' beloved Chronicles of Narnia series. 20th Century Fox is bringing Dawn Treader to theaters everywhere, in 3D, on December 10th this winter.
