Jerry Bruckheimer has announced via his Twitter account that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has started filming in Hawaii! The producer posted three photos from the set, including the front and back of the chairs the crew and cast members will sit in (that feature the film's new logo, which hints at the fountain of youth storyline) as well as director Rob Marshall arriving to the set with a jet ski.
Opening in 3D and 2D theaters on May 20, the highly-anticipated film stars Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Kevin McNally, Stephen Graham, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
