For those of you that would like to see all of the full size images that are available - please check out the source article!
Nothing this project has sent my way has hooked me emotionally. I remain skeptical and have low expectations, which actually may play to this films benefit if I see it and it’s good. The shadow of woe hovers above all video game films and we shall see if this one is able to shake the specter loose October 17th.

Max Payne Posters
I've put up both posters below full-size courtesy of IMPAwards. I just couldn't put them side-by-side, they need to be seen in all of their high res glory to be appreciated!
Max Payne is directed by Irish filmmaker John Moore, of Behind Enemy Lines, Flight of the Phoenix, and The Omen previously, with a screenplay written by first-time writer Beau Thorne. The film is based on the popular Max Payne series of third-person-shooter video games that first arrived in 2001. Fox is debuting Max Payne in theaters on October 17th just before Halloween. I'll be there!

New Badass Max Payne Promo Photos!
Vishal mentioned that these photos are from the official website but haven't actually been released just yet - so take a look at them now before they get removed. They'll eventually be added in higher resolution at some point in the future, but for now these should hold you over. Badass?

First Max PayneTrailer Hits
The first trailer for John Moore's adaptation of the video game Max Payne has finally arrived. After months and months of waiting and immense early praise, we finally have our first look at what to expect in this upcoming video game adaptation. Honestly, I'm impressed, very impressed, by this trailer. It won't be what you expect, but it might leave you quite excited. I really love the visual style and this time I think Mark Wahlberg will kick ass. I have no clue what that angel was at the end and if there is a dark fantasy or paranormal element to this, but that scene was pretty intense. I've been looking forward to this since I first heard about it and now I'm truly excited to see it.
This is an international trailer courtesy of Filmweb.pl. We expect there to be a different American version that might hit theaters soon as well. Although this looks much different from the games, it still looks very entertaining. Does the trailer live up to all of your expectations?

O’Donnell Feeling the Payne
One-time TV veterinarian Chris O’Donnell (TVs "Grey's Anatomy") is stepping back into the shadowy world of big-screen blockbusters – terrain he’s only too familiar with, having starred in two “Batman” movies (the sucky ones). The Boy Wonder has joined the cast of “Max Payne”, the latest in a long line of unnecessary films based on video games.
Payne is the story of a cop (Mark Wahlberg), haunted by the death of his family, who's hot on the heels of a series of new murders. O'Donell will play executive Jason Colvin, says EW.

First Looks at max pain

Payne centers on a NYPD detective in Hell's Kitchen. When his family is brutally murdered, Payne is left to uncover the reasons why, all the while being accused of the crime himself. Throw in the mafia, corrupt corporations, and shady lady named Mona Sax, and you have all the ingredients of a decent noir thriller. It was just announced that Mila Kunis (Family Guy) will star as Sax. In the film, Kunis will play a young woman who joins up with Payne to get revenge for the murder of her sister.
Payne just started shooting in Toronto, Canada last week. Director John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines) had hinted that the film might aim for a PG-13 rating. But if you take out the violence from Payne, what exactly do you have left? I guess we will find out when Max Payne hits theaters on October 17th.
