Watch: Disney's Charming New Father's Day Spot for Pixar's 'Brave'

Disney has released a Father's Day spot for Pixar's Brave, and it really is wonderful. The film itself is a heartfelt story about a Scottish family, and the relationship between a rebellious daughter and her royal mother and father. This spot highlights some of the more intimate, character moments between Merida (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) and her father, King Fergus (voiced by Billy Connolly). It's a perfect short spot with just the right amount of charm to brighten your day. Check it out below and enjoy!

Watch the new spot for Disney/Pixar's fairytale Brave, in high def from YouTube:

Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Pixar's Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.

Brave was originally being directed by Pixar's first female director, Brenda Chapman (of Prince of Egypt), but she was then joined by Mark Andrews (of the short One Man Band) who took over to help finish the movie. Disney has scheduled Pixar's Brave for release this summer starting June 22nd in 3D. Seeing it?
