Edward Norton Releases Statement About Marvel’s Casting Decisions for The Avengers

Obviously over the weekend the news Edward Norton won't be playing the Incredible Hulk in Marvel's The Avengers got a bit heated as Marvel Studios' President of Production Kevin Feige said one thing and Norton's agent said another. Well, today Norton has replied via his Facebook page in a statement that pretty much dowses the fires allowing things to move on…

First Look At Edward Norton's Evil Twin

Cinema Blend has posted the first official still from the flick, which will open sometime next year.

In the film, Edward Norton plays twin brothers. One of them is a respected philosophy professor, while the other spends his time growing marijuana. In a sudden turn of events, the professor must return to his Oklahoma hometown, where he encounters a local drug lord.

Also on board are Susan Sarandon, Richard Dreyfuss, Lucy DeVito, Rhea Perlman and Steve Earle. Check out the still featuring two Ed Nortons just above. It will be interesting to see how his performance(s) compares to that/those of Nicholas Cage in "Adaptation."

Movie Review: The Incredible Hulk [2008]

Contributed by Sarhan "Tsar" Rashid

Considering the fact that it took WB almost 10 years to get a Batman reboot into cinema halls it's amazing what a swift job Marvel has done with bringing the Hulk back on screens. The question on everyones mind is if the movie will be worth the trouble? I hope to help answer that question with my review of The Incredible Hulk later today.

Look out for that!

The Incredible Hulk Poster Revealed!

With a mere 60 days to go until its debut, Universal has finally put out a poster for The Incredible Hulk. The poster features a puny Edward Norton and a giant Hulk standing back-to-back and all the other standard advertising fare. To be honest, it's quite unimpressive - at least, it's not that eye-catching. Whether or not we'll see more posters before its release is still unknown, but it's my guess that this is the one and only Hulk poster there is. Check it out below and chime in with your thoughts as well.

Thanks to IGN for initially debuting this - we'll update it with a full size clean version once we pick one up.

The Incredible Hulk Poster

In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. Living in the shadows—cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler)—Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.

As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk’s creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk’s own. And on June 13, 2008, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside—The Incredible Hulk.

The Incredible Hulk is directed by French filmmaker Louis Leterrier of The Transporter, Unleashed, and The Transporter 2. The script for the film was originally written by Zak Penn (Behind Enemy Lines, X-Men 2, X-Men 3), but after joining the film as the lead character Bruce Banner, Edward Norton himself took over the reigns and re-wrote the screenplay. The Incredible Hulk arrives in theaters on June 13th.
