'Titanic II' Trailer Hits; Yep, It's a Real Movie

The idea of a sequel to James Cameron's Titanic has been a Hollywood punchline for years; the epitome of zero creativity, sequelitis and cash-in motivations. Sadly, a studio did actually make a Titanic II. It's no longer a joke. Titanic II is very much so a real movie and it has a real trailer (unlike the dozens of fake, fan-made trailers that have emerged over the years).

Now if you're wondering how Titanic II came to be, I need only name-drop a single production company: The Asylum. Yep, Titanic II will be emerging on August 24 from the mockbuster factory that produced 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Snakes on a Train, War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave and ... The 9/11 Commission Report (of course they have no shame). It stars Bruce Davison, Brooke Burns and Dick Van Dyke's son, Shane Van Dyke, who actually also wrote and directed this future drinking game of a movie.

Yes, this trailer actually contains the line, "It looks like history is repeating itself." Genius. Buuuuuaaaa hahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
