Bruce Willis is a busy man at this year’s Comic-Con. In addition to stopping by The Expendables panel, he also talked to MTV about his upcoming projects, namely Die Hard 5 and the long-awaited sequel to M. Night Shyamalan’s last good movie, Unbreakable. The Unbreakable front, sadly, is bleak. Willis is eager to continue the story of David Dunn, the Philadelphia security guard who discovers his body is, well, unbreakable, but Shyamalan is a different story. According to Willis, “We’d have to hip-check Night [Shyamalan] into doing it.”
Check out a clip of the Die Hard comments after the jump.
Willis was much more optimistic about Die Hard 5. Live Free or Die Hard grossed $383 million worldwide and became the most successful film in the franchise — it seemed only a matter of time before Willis’ John McClane, the everyman badass, would be back in theatres. Willis says the greenlight is “imminent… the coin is about to drop.” Yippee kay yay indeed.
