Lionsgate has stepped up to make screen scribe Stuart Gibbs' debut novel, "The Last Equation," reports Variety.An action-thriller, the contemporary story pivots on government agents, a criminal and a math whiz on a quest to find a buried Albert Einstein formula that could harness energy with deadly consequences.
Production will be overseen for Lionsgate by vice president Jim Miller.
