Star Trek 2 Delayed

Excited for a J.J. Abrams-helmed Star Trek 2 to start up soon? Hold your intergalactic horses, says Zachary Quinto. “I know there are sort of erroneous reports that we’re going back in January — not true, as far as I know,” he told MTV News at Comic-Con. Also, is J.J. so totally going to throw Trek over to direct Wicked, or am I reading too much into this apropos-of-nothing

Full-Length Tron Legacy Trailer!

 Tron Legacy has debuted online. It's absolutely amazing, totally awe-inspiring, and a must watch for anyone, even if you were not initially Tron fans. Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Garrett Hedlund and Bruce Boxleitner and will be hitting theaters in glorious, native 3D this December. Easily my most anticipated movie for the rest of 2010, hands down. Do yourself a favor, drop everything, and watch this trailer now, because you will be totally blown away. Watch this below

Awesome Full Trailer for Ryan Reynolds' Buried!

Because the entire movie takes place inside of the coffin, Lionsgate had to be very creative with this trailer, because they don't want to show too much of it since there's only so much that's in the movie anyway. That said, I think this is a perfect trailer to tease audiences and provide a sense of the intensity of Buried, which I can say will probably end up as one of my favorite movies of the year. Definitely watch this trailer, it's worth it!

First Look at Spielberg's produced Falling Skies

TNT as released twenty new stills from the alien invasion drama Falling Skies.  Unfortunately, no extraterrestrials are pictured, but there’s plenty of gun totin’ and motorcycle ridin’ to tide over this red-blooded young male.

Stars Noah Wyle (ER) and Moon Bloodgood (Terminator: Salvation) as well as co-executive producer Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica) will hold a Q&A panel session on July 23rd at Comic-Con.  Hit the jump for details, and check out the pics.

I Am Legend Prequel Moving Forward

Variety is confirming what Francis Lawrence told ShockTillYouDop.com at Comic-Con International two months ago, that Warner Bros. is starting to get the ball rolling on a prequel to the 2007 Will Smith blockbuster I Am Legend, which grossed $584 million internationally.

Lawrence will be returning to direct, and Variety reports that Will Smith will return as Dr. Robert Neville, as well as co-produce with his Overbrook Entertainment partner James Lassiter and the original movie's producer Akiva Goldsman. The screenplay is written by D.B. Weiss based on a detailed outline that was created by the combined forces of Smith, Goldsman, Lassiter and Lawrence, which will cover the final days of humanity in New York City before a man-made virus creates a plague that wipes out the population, leaving Neville alone with the mutated inhabitants.

Eight Watchmen Posters from Comic-Con 08!

I'm not sure whether these are official posters or not, but I expect Warner Brothers to be debuting a lot more different posters over the next few months anyway, so stay tuned for more! Thoughts on these eight?

Watchmen is directed by Zack Snyder (of Dawn of the Dead and 300) and written by David Hayter (The Scorpion King, X-Men, X-Men 2) and Alex Tse. The movie arrives in theaters everywhere on March 6th, 2009.
