New Trailer for THOR Online

Paramount has finally debuted the first official teaser trailer for Marvel's Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, starring Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder. The trailer comes from Yahoo and is a must watch, even if you're not that familiar with this superhero. I think this looks awesome, despite the costumes; it looks like it'll be epic and exciting. The cast also includes: Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba, Stellan SkarsgÄrd, Ray Stevenson, Rene Russo and Tom Hiddleston as the mysterious Loki.

New Earth-Based Photo from Kenneth Branagh's Thor

Comic-Con's Hall H will be the epicentre of fanboy frenzy this weekend as Marvel's Kevin Feige officially introduces his Thor cast and crew to the world. To wet our whistle in the meantime, the studio handed USA Today a fresh picture of Chris Hemsworth’s Mjolnir-wielding Norse god in a distinctly Earth-bound capacity.

First Look at Thor's Hall of Asgard

A new image from Kenneth Branagh’s Thor has arrived online.  The image, which premiered in yesterday’s print edition of the LA Times, provides the first look at the Hall of Asgard as well as some supporting characters.  Front-and-center are the already-introduced Odin (Anthony Hopkins) with his son Thor (Chris Hemsworth) kneeling in front of him.  Off to the side, we can see (from left to right), Thor’s adopted brother and nemesis Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Queen of Asgard and Thor’s step-mother Frigga (Rene Russo), and Thor’s allies Hogun the Grim (Tadanobu Asano) and Fandral the Dashing (Josh Dallas).

New 'Thor' Image God Talk

Not to be outdone by Warner Bros. and their new DC Comics based Green Lantern franchise, Marvel has a new photo from Thor floating around out in the ether. It was first picked up by a reader on Superherohype. The image shows Anthony Hopkins as Odin imparting godly wisdom to Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Or maybe he’s about to kick him in the nuts. It’s kind of hard to tell.

New 'Thor' Image

We pretty much expected this, but now it's official: Ahead of their big panels at Comic Con next week, Hero Complex reports that both Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger will go 3D. Both films will be converting to 3D, even though director Joe Johnston tested shooting Captain America with a 3D rig (he called it a "nightmare" that restricted him too much). In addition to the 3D announcement, HC also revealed a brand new image from Thor featuring Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Chris Hemsworth as Thor (complete with the first shot of his trusty hammer) and Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki.
